Nichola Buchanan (Senior Naval Architect)

Graduating in 2010 Nichola began her career with John at Burness Corlett Three Quays. After leaving Burness Corlett Three Quays in early 2014, Nichola moved to DMS Maritime to work on the Armidale Class Patrol Boats. Nichola then rejoined John with his new endeavour in late 2014.

 

Nichola has a range of experience in:

Nichola has been involved in projects for: AASSPO, FFGSPO, MCDSPOHSPO, PBSPO, LHDSPO platforms, high speed craft, commercial vessels and cruise ships and has experience in vessels and structures manufactured from steel, aluminium and composite materials.

Accredited AMSA Surveyor

Nichola recently became an accredited AMSA Marine Surveyor, and can see your vessel into Survey, from Plan Approval to Stability Assessment.

RINA Associate Member

Nichola plays an active role in the RINA community, and uses the membership as a tool to aide continued personal development.

SNAME Associate Member

Nichola is an Associate Member of SNAME to gain access to industry research material and developments.

Engineers Australia Member

As a member of Engineers Australia Nichola has access to a wide range of services and resources that assist her with continued professional development.
